For those who are interested in presenting a project /poster at next years SWPA, the due date is November 1st, so get your application in soon!

Psi Chi chair elections will be held on October 5th at 5:45 PM in Heyne 135, at the next General Meeting. Below is a quick description of each officer/committee you can run for (you can also run for more than one chair position).  

Chair positions are open to members of both Psi Chi and Psychology Club! This is a great position that will help you learn and grow, while gaining valuable leadership experience. 

Social (President): Organize social events, and organizational activities to increase group chemistry.

Inductions (Vice President): Plan inductions ceremony for each semester, and compile member points.

Fundraising (Treasurer): Apply for funding from the university, upkeep of Psi Chi store, organize food for meetings and socials, organize bake sales and other fundraisers.

Volunteering (Secretary): Process applications for Psi Chi and Psychology Club, help organize volunteer opportunities, and tutoring services.

Academic Affairs: Plan annual SWPA conference, organize academic events, and organize journal club meetings.

Scrapbooking/Photography (Historian): Create Psychobabble newsletters, create flyers to advertise all events and meetings, upkeep of social media accounts, create yearly scrapbook, take photos at all events and meetings.
